Nigeria: TCN to construct transmission lines

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has received funds from the Federal Ministry of Power and Housing for the electrification of the Loko community of Nassarawa State and Agatu community in Agatu local government area of Bunue State.

TCN now invites bids from interested bidders for the supply and installation of equipment and material for the electrification project.

Scopes of works

Lot 1 – supply and installation of materials for 30km route length of 33kV lines with its associated 2No. 500HVA, 33kV/415kV overheard line in Loko community.

Lot 2 – supply and installation of material for 8km of 33kV line with its associated 1No. 500KVA, 33/0.415kV transformer substations, and 2km of 0.415kV overhead line in Oweto-Agatu community.

Interested companies may collect the standard bidding documents at the below address, upon payment of a non-refundable tender fee of N10,000 ($28) per lot.

Payment should be made through CBN Remita platform payable to the TCN-TSP AFD loan Naira Account No. 002499261188.

Submissions

All documents shall be submitted in two hard copies, each of technical and financial bids with a soft copy of financial bid only in MS Excel format.

Completed technical and financial bid documents shall be submitted in separate envelopes, sealed and clearly marked Technical Bid and Financial Bid, respectively, for each Lot of the bidder's choice.

Closing date for this tender has been slated for 10 October 2018 at 12 pm.
